That’s why we design our infrared heaters specifically for farmers and the animals they care for. Our goal was to create a safe stall heater, barn heater, or animal heater to keeps them warm, dry, and comfortable in any space.

Our heaters are built tough to handle mud, dirt, water, straw, hay, and dust, so your animals stay warm, dry, and comfortable every day.
Safety Features
Other heaters may use liquid-filled elements that can spill if broken, causing a hazard with stray, hay, and livestock underneath them. Kalglo heaters use metal elements secured with brackets to stay in place. This makes them the safer option for barns, stalls, and similar areas.
Electrical problems, such as power surges or improper wiring, can happen anywhere if not installed properly. In this situation, the element may snap or automatically shut off to prevent fires or damage.
Will the heater make the straw or bedding too hot?
No! Kalglo heaters are made to heat objects from a safe distance. We recommend keeping the heater about 6–12" away from anything flammable.
To have more control, you can adjust the output with one of our controllers. (RS Series, built onto the end of the heater) (HS Series, offered on the wall separately). This lets you find the setting that works best for your space.
What happens if the heating element breaks?
Kalglo infrared heaters use metal heating elements that don’t contain hot liquid like some other brands. If your heating element breaks, the heater will stop providing power to keep it safe. For extra safety, the 65" heaters have two supports and the 35" heaters have one, keeping the elements securely in place, even when broken.
You may need to contact an electrician to look into any electrical issues, and investigate why your element snapped/broke.
Replacement elements can be ordered on our website and installed. This will get your heater back up and running quickly!

How often do I need to replace the heating element?
The element can last about 2–5 years if installed correctly and taken care of properly. (This may vary depending on usage)
Why does Kalglo use Incoloy in our heating elements?
Incoloy metal is strong and holds up well in tough, hot, and wet conditions. It won’t rust or corrode like regular metals, so the heating element lasts longer and is easier maintain. This means your heater can keep providing safe, efficient warmth for years.
Easy Installation
We know life can get busy, and every day comes with its own set of challenges. That’s why we designed our heaters to make life a little easier. Kalglo heaters are made easy to install so you can set them up quickly and focus more on your day, animals, or space.
Does my heater need to be hard-wired?
No! Kalglo heaters come with 120V or 240V plugs, so you can simply plug in your heater and start enjoying warmth right away.
How do I install my heater?
Each heater includes (4) S-hooks, (2) wood screw hooks, and (2) 6.5-foot chains for ceiling mounting. We recommend keeping the heater 3–4 feet away from the object want to keep warm. Installation is simple and usually takes just 10–15 minutes—then plug it in and enjoy the warmth!
What if my ceiling is too high?
If ceiling installation isn’t an option or not wanted, you can alwasy use our wall-mounting brackets. This allow you to securely and safely mount your heater on any wall. You can easily install them and adjust the heater's angle using the bracket settings.
Note: They are designed to ensure the heater stays at a safe distance from the wall!
Water-Resistant Design
Kalglo heaters are made with water- and rust-resistant materials so they can handle tough conditions.
They work well in areas with high moisture, humidity, and other harsh conditions. They are also safe in wash stalls, where water overspray happens, without hurting the heater. This protection keeps your heater working reliably for years, making Kalglo a trusted choice for safe, long-lasting heaters.
Will my heater break if water gets on it?
No! Light water or overspray won’t damage your heater. But you shouldn’t spray water directly on it because it has electrical parts inside. Your heater is built to resist rust and corrosion, so it’s safe in high-moisture areas like wash stalls, garages, or greenhouses.
